With this series, Chasse invites viewers to "fantasize, reexamine historical narratives, and contemplate notions of subjectivity in our collective understanding of truth and fiction." Spring Explorations - The Magical World of Mushrooms

Last September, we shared a foraging guide on the precious fungi that flourishes in our Hudson Valley forests. Learn more about spring-time foraging in person at the Ashokan Center with Luke Sarrantonio on May 14th! He'll delve into the ecology of the coveted Morel mushroom (a spring-time favorite!) and share tips on what other species to look for as temperatures warm.

This is a very special cooking class! Hosted at Olana State Park, each workshop uses the site's landscape and history as inspiration for an art activity and special recipe. Programs include an outdoor tour, art exploration, cooking instruction, and a healthy lunch. You can register for one or all three classes for free - registration includes all art making supplies, a free lunch for each participant, and a voucher to participate in future cooking classes!
Mayfest

Stained Glass Jewelry Workshop
