One day, two weeks ago, I was answering my social media messages and taking a few minutes to browse local news when, from several sources, I became informed that The Hyde Park Drive-In was reopening this summer! Woo-hoo! Obviously, this is wonderful news! I love a drive-in, and I was genuinely excited that this Hudson Valley icon was coming back! I was a little surprised, though, that it seemed like such big news... A lot is going on in the world. I was even more surprised to find, when I clicked through to articles, that there was no specified timeframe for its reopening, no screening schedule, and no mention of who the new proprietors are!
