Posted by Coldwell Banker Village Green Realty on Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at 8:10am
It's time for our monthly roundup of events! Looking outside any window in the Hudson Valley and Catskill Region this morning you'll see a blanket of snow. That means that all the Upstate winter activities we love are a go! Right now you can ski, skate, snowshoe, winter hike, sled or have a snowball fight. You can also attend any of these events across the Upstate counties that local organizations have planned to brighten our short days whether we have snow or not. We've picked out a few events that look like a good time. There are monsters, there's 1960s pop art, lots of planting, ice sculpture, basket making, print making and some exciting performances. Enjoy! Ready to make this area your home? As the local experts in Upstate real estate we're your resource - send us a message or call!

This sequel to Kiss the Ground, Common Ground unveils the powers that be behind the food available in our grocery stores and helps us understand how we can change the narrative one small piece of land at a time. Learn To Needle Felt
Where: Hyde Park, NY
Clover Brooke Farm in Hyde Park offers classes in needle felting. What is needle felting you ask? Sheep's wool has tiny barbs along the fibers that can make it catch hold of other fibers if the right type of pressure is applied. Poke a barbed needle into a pile of cleaned wool and the right kind of pressure is achieved. Do it enough times and you can coax wool into shapes. Needle felting is therapeutic - give it a try!
Daddy Long Legs | Blues Night At The Colony
Where: Woodstock, NY
We're fortunate to be able to walk across the parking lot of our Woodstock Office to The Colony for a night of R&B with Daddy Long Legs. See you there!
