Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts a cast led by tenor Piotr Beczała in the title role of the mysterious swan knight. Soprano Tamara Wilson is the virtuous duchess Elsa, falsely accused of murder, going head-to-head with soprano Christine Goerke as the cunning sorceress Ortrud. Kintsugi Class

In the ancient art of Kintsugi, broken pottery pieces are sealed back together with gold — making damaged objects stronger than they were before. At this small group workshop, licensed art therapist Tara DeLuca will guide you as you create your own Kintsugi piece. You'll connect with a unique ceramic vase (handmade by Tara), break it, and choose the way you'll decorate and repair the pieces. The process is therapeutic for many, as it forces you to confront symbolic "damage" and find beauty in the imperfect.
