Maple Celebration 2023
Where: Cold Spring, NY
The sap will be flowing and the pancakes sizzling, as The Taconic Outdoor Education Center located in Fahnestock State Park hosts its annual Maple Sugar Celebration! Limited slots are available on a first come, first served basis. Fahnestock has miles of trails if you want to down some pancakes and then get in a hike or vice versa. Register below!
Free Film Screening & Garden Talk With The Beatrix Farrand Garden Association

Join the Beatrix Farrand Garden Association and National Park Service for a short discussion about their upcoming project: Beatrix Farrand's Wild Garden Realization and a FREE screening of their documentary film.
Maple Festival
Where: Acra, NY
Experience the sweet world of maple sugaring at Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Agroforestry Resource Center, tour the sugar shack, learn how to tap a tree, and taste fresh sap. If you want to dive in deeper, sign up for one of the two educational sessions offered during the day.
35th Annual Shamrock Run
Where: Kingston, NY
Every year the Irish Cultural Center of the Hudson Valley holds a 2 mile race before the Kingston Saint Patrick Day Parade. Join the race or cheer runners from the sidelines (look out for the CBVGR logo - we've got runners!). There’s a post-race party at the Rondout Neighborhood Center too!

MET HD: Lohengrin (Wagner)
Where: Poughkeepsie, NY
Live broadcast at the Bardavon of Wagner’s Lohengrin returns on the Met stage after an absence of 17 years with this atmospheric new staging by François Girard. Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts a cast led by tenor Piotr Beczała in the title role of the mysterious swan knight. Soprano Tamara Wilson is the virtuous duchess Elsa, falsely accused of murder, going head-to-head with soprano Christine Goerke as the cunning sorceress Ortrud. Bass-baritone Evgeny Nikitin is Ortrud’s power-hungry husband, Telramund, and bass Günther Groissböck is King Heinrich.
Planting Sip & Paint

8th Annual Spirit of the Hudson Gala

Clearwater will host its 8th annual fundraising gala honoring those who have played a major role in the education, preservation, and protection of the Hudson River Valley. A wonderful evening that supports our river and communities.

Spring Gardening Days

Every spring, Master Gardener Volunteers across the state hold educational workshops where they dive deep into starting or maintaining your garden. This year you can sign up for the following courses in Hudson: Gardening For Pollinators (save the bees!), The Family Planting Playbook, and Creating A Cutting Garden.
Kintsugi Class
Where: Beacon, NY
In the ancient art of Kintsugi, broken pottery pieces are sealed back together with gold — making damaged objects stronger than they were before. At this small group workshop, licensed art therapist Tara DeLuca will guide you as you create your own Kintsugi piece. You'll connect with a unique ceramic vase (handmade by Tara), break it, and choose the way you'll decorate and repair the pieces. The process is therapeutic for many, as it forces you to confront symbolic "damage" and find beauty in the imperfect.
Woodstock Book Fest
