Woodstock Real Estate For Sale

21-25 Rose Lane, Bearsville, NY 12498 - Catskills Log Home For Sale

“In the bleak mid-winter, frosty wind made moan…”

Frosty wind has certainly made moan this December and January. It’s been cold, it’s been bleak, and everyone in the Upstate region has been spending more time in our homes than we’re accustomed to. In this sort of weather, home becomes very important. The less stuffy your home is, the less likely you are to get a raging case of cabin fever. You want a home that’s warm and cheerful. A home that lifts your spirits and encourages you to look out the windows, to go outside, and not to burrow deeper into the vortex of your sofa. 21-25 Rose Lane in Bearsville in Ulster County NY is the

Summer Camp Grows Up

If you went to summer camp, you have nostalgia for summer camp; it’s as simple as that. Every time you start to forget how much fun you had, how free you felt, you see a canoe atop a car, or you scroll through Netflix and catch “Wet Hot American Summer” and laugh until you cry. You want to go back! Now!

Guess what? You can. 65 Hollow Road in Woodstock NY was once a boy’s camp. The mess hall is there, the bunk house is there, the pond, the pool, the WATER SLIDE. But it’s all been converted into a private paradise. The perfect place for you and your friends spend your weekends reliving your childhood.

In a hidden meadow on the outskirts of Woodstock New York, five buildings offer a variety of living spaces, creative spaces,

Stoll Road

So many people move to the Catskills and Hudson Valley so they can spend more time enjoying the outdoors. A great thought! But days can become filled with errands and work, social appointments and obligations of all sorts. It IS possible to move here and end up spending as little time outdoors as you did when you lived in the city or the ‘burbs. Horrors! But, there’s a way to be sure you live the lifestyle you sought.

Choosing a house that is interconnected with the natural world is the key to ensuring you get connected to it too. A house with easy access to the outdoors - from multiple egresses, through large glass windows uninterrupted by fussy decorations, a house that has outdoor spaces that invite gatherings and are just as comfortable as

We opened our newest Real Estate office in Rhinebeck NY a few weeks ago, and we all got a little bonus. We knew it was coming, but for Real Estate people, the perk that is working in a village filled with great home decor shops cannot to be underestimated. Window shopping while picking up a mid-afternoon iced coffee at Bread Alone is a real coffee break. Daydreaming about that outdoor ottoman made of synthetic turf is a great way to take a little brain break. We've been selling property in and around Rhinebeck for decades, and we'd stop in the village for a quick peek. But nothing compares to getting the scoop on a one of a kind item because you check in every few days. We're so glad to be there! Here are the home goods

2 Farmhouses for Sale - Catskills & Shawangunks

So many Ulster County homebuyers are looking for farmhouses with barns. When we search for homes we’re so often searching for something much more than a space to place our couch so we can binge watch some Netflix. Some of us are searching for open air, a connection to the land, a connection to history, to be surrounded by a craftsmanship that is uncommon in today’s world, or to have the space to make our art. Perhaps we’re looking to be enchanted, swept away by the fulfillment of our perfect-house dreams. Whatever we’re all looking for in a home, many of us find the farmhouse a perfect fit.

This year housing inventory is uncommonly low in Ulster County. In 2014 between April 1st and May 30th,

10 Reasons to Love a

Is it me or is "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" playing on repeat on every radio station? The DJ's in Upstate NY have really got to get a bit more creative this year! They might better play "You Can't Always Get What You Want"! The reality is it's not looking good for a Holiday Vacation filled with the white stuff. But you know what? While a snow-free town square might be a little less picturesque than all of us would like, there are some real upsides to the balmy December weather we're experiencing.

My Top 10 Reasons A Brown December Is Awesome!

#10. Barefoot Holiday Lights

I love white lights during the holidays. My husband and I wrap several dogwood trees, giant rhododendrons, azalea bushes and a couple

Hiking in the Gunks in the Spring - Adventure Time!

by Amber Rodriguez - Administrative Assistant

I had a mid-week day off last week. The sun was shining and the ice was melting (well the ice was starting to melt), and after a long winter cooped up I HAD to get out there! Smell the air! See some sights! No one was game for going with me. So I loaded some snacks in my car and headed for Minnewaska State Park in New Paltz.

If you've never been to Minnewaska, make the effort! It houses some of the most beautiful terrain in the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge. There are lakes, waterfalls, carriage paths for easy walking and serious cliffs for rock climbers. But, when's there's snow on the ground it's ALL serious stuff. I wanted to do the
