Just west of Lake Hill the Esopus Valley spreads wide, and you enter the serene Woodstock hamlet of Willow. The mountains are all around, the streams cut their curvy ways, the trees whisper a song of protection from every side. There’s not a lot here besides magnificent nature, a few houses and farms, and the Beaver Kill. Route 212, which runs between Woodstock and Phoenicia, is flat through Willow which translates to the roadside properties with beautiful meadow and mountain views that everyone who's ever driven between the two villages along this route remembers.

Tremper-Willow trailhead which provides access to the Phoenicia-Mt. Tobias Wild Forest. Cross Patch and Silver Hollow roads also climb north in Willow, with amazing homes offering incredible views on the way up.
