Biography
Chances are I've been in your situation myself, so I understand what you may be experiencing as a buyer or seller, and first hand experience has no substitute...My own experiences as a first time home buyer and seller prompted me to get my Real Estate license in 2005. I learned the real estate profession on a part time basis before deciding to make it my full time career. I earned my GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation in 2019.
My diverse background serves as a vast resource to help each client navigate through the buying and/or selling process. Originally born and raised in Westchester County, I moved to the Hudson Valley when I purchased my first home. I worked for a savings bank for 13 years. After which I worked for a few years for a private investigations firm and then in the nonprofit sector from the late 90’s until 2012 where I was the Director of Operations responsible for, amongst other things, Facilities Management which included corporate leases, property management and repair/renovations.
In my spare time I like to check out vintage cars, do home renovations, garden, watch nature, solve environmental issues and drink coffee!
I have a 1968 Plymouth Fury convertible that I have been working on for years now, little by little restoring it, and I love to take drives in the warm weather with the top down. In 2017 I put a little pond in my yard, and have had goldfish and frogs inhabiting that since. They are so much fun to watch.
I've been involved with local groups for gardening, pollinator pathways, environmental boards, and am currently on the Ulster County Recycling Oversight Committee. The goal there is to reuse, repurpose and keep the environment healthy for all inhabitants, humans, wildlife and insects (especially bees).
I don't fancy myself as an artist, but I have been known to put a brush to canvas on a few occasions. I like to be creative and have had the honor of making many tugboats for the Town of Esopus.
I’m eager to learn about you and I would be happy to assist in any way I can to help you find you a home of your own.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
