Aysa (eye-sha, like “I shot the sheriff”) is a Turkish name. My parents were in the Peace Corps in Turkey, where I was born in Izmir and lived until I was 2 years old. My Mother was an adventurous soul, and as a result, the travel continued. I consider myself fortunate to have lived and travelled all over the world.
I started my professional life working in musical theatre in NYC and toured throughout Europe and the United States performing. As that chapter was coming to a close, I fell in love with the Catskills and the beauty of the Hudson River and took the leap away from big city life. I highly recommend it!
This area is blessed with not only natural beauty but a unique and amazing combination of rural living and cultural sophistication. The arts scenes are dynamic and always growing.
