I have lived in the Hudson Valley for most of my life, except for a few years after college when I lived in Connecticut for 2 years. Currently I live in New Paltz with my husband and son.

What I love most about living here is the access that we have to everything. This truly is the most convenient location the state has to offer. Where else can you live and work and be a short distance from the best concerts, plays, and sporting events that the state has to offer? The lower Hudson Valley is so convenient that many have chosen it to raise their families here yet still be able to commute to the metropolitan areas - you can use the bus or train or plane to get there. Looking for a weekend home to get away from it all…We have some of the best stress relievers right here biking, hiking, skiing, and climbing those most famous mountains “The Gunks.” Want to go kayaking/canoeing or sailing or fishing; the Wallkill or Hudson Rivers might just be what you are looking for. I’ll give you a local tour and point out some of my favorite spots that include local farm markets, eateries, knitting or running shops.
