Game of Thrones is meant to make us all deeply nervous. For
many it does just that! We're looking down the barrel at a winter
the Farmer's Almanac promises will bring a "snow comeback"
to the Northeast - at a time when being outdoors is considered
the safest place to socialize. For some, this will seem like a real
bummer of a combo - lots of the white stuff and a need to be
out in it. BUT, for those who love downhill skiing, snowshoeing,
cross-country skiing, tubing and bundling up for a s'mores roast
hearing "Winter is coming" brings a tingle of anticipation and a yen
for a home base in the mountains. This post is for all you winter
wonderland lovers. We have a lineup of ski houses for sale that

Upstate NY Ski Season 2020 - 2021
The three major ski resorts in the Catskills have had a full off-season to prepare for the safety of their skiers this year; and frankly, some of the adjustments might improve the ski experience. Mountains will be limiting the number of skiers on the slopes - who doesn't love an uncrowded trail? They are requiring masks, which most skiers have no issue with - if you have the need for speed, you were wearing one anyway! The reduced capacity in dining areas (which will be offering more grab & go items) could cause a real throwback to the 70's and 80's when groups arrived at the mountain toting coolers filled with egg salad sandwiches, homemade brownies and wine - Hello! Yum! Bonus points are given out for those who use their coolers as outdoor seating at the base lodge. These temporary changes could be a GOOD THING. Want more details?
