Things To Do In Upstate New York! Being in the Real Estate biz, we're plugged into the event scene across the many counties of the Hudson Valley and Catskills region. We love all the creativity we're seeing! It seems that our neighbors spent the quiet pandemic time coming up with new and different ways for us to have fun together (without discarding the best of the old ways). We shout, "hooray" for Painting With Ponies, a no-phone music and camping festival, and a nighttime market featuring "exotic oddities". We've culled together a list of concerts, festivals, fairs, farmer's markets, and other happening events in the Hudson Valley and Catskills for summer 2022 that we're excited for. Yes, you read that right... PAINTING WITH PONIES! Be guided through horse themed painting by Jill Dunay of Let’s Do Paint, while being fully immersed in the peace and meditation of horses. You will be seated right in the paddock for the activity, where the members of the herd can interact with participants at will. A photographer will be on location to capture all the magic.

Come have some fun in the sun at the Putnam County Country Fest & 4-H Showcase July 15-17 at Veterans Memorial Park, 201 Gipsy Trail Road in Carmel, NY. There will be food trucks, sweet treats, country-themed vendors and plenty of games and exhibits for the whole family to enjoy! There will be horse showmanship and demonstrations, magic shows, inflatables and much more! On Friday and Saturday night enjoy concerts under the stars and on Sunday there will be a classic car show with the NY Cruisers and a Duck Derby to benefit Cornell Cooperative Extension. Join us for some country fun!

Hudson Valley Craft Beverage Festival

Celebrate some of the best craft beverages the Hudson Valley has to offer, with tastings from over 20 makers of local cider, beer, wine, mead, spirits and kombucha at this first annual Hudson Valley Craft Beverage Festival, hosted by Brooklyn Cider House at Twin Star Orchards. Enjoy live music all day while feasting on some of the best wood-fired pizzas, burgers and barbecue in the area! Support local producers as you shop the market for bottles and cans to go. We had a company party here a few years back. It's a beautiful location, they have corn hole (oh, how we love it), and the burgers are deeeeeeelicious!
