Diane DeChillo R.E. Salesperson
When I moved to the Hudson Valley in 1986, I was immediately struck by the beauty of the open farmland and historic architecture that surrounded me. Born in Brooklyn, and a temporary transplant to the Adirondacks, I was intrigued by the local landscape and the cultural richness of my new home.
As an Art History major at the State University in New Paltz, I developed a more in-depth appreciation for the local architecture. And, in my twenty year career as a program director and grant writer for local history museums and libraries, I’ve had the opportunity to invite so many interesting people to share their expertise in presenting programs like lectures on local history, book discussions, concerts, and architectural walking tours. While the creative aspect of my work has kept me in touch with the rich cultural diversity of the area, its grant writing component has taught me how to market my programs successfully in a competitive funding market.
Working in Real Estate allows me to put these skill to work for my clients. I love sharing my enthusiasm for local homes—from the Victorian, the Mid-Century modern to the tiniest cabin in the woods—with prospective buyers. And it is so rewarding to help my clients through the selling process, from pricing it right to staging and marketing…to the closing table.
I am happy to be part of the Coldwell Banker Village Green team, and I hope that you will join us to make your real estate dreams come true.
