Biography

Guy Barretta is the Chief Operating Officer of Coldwell Banker Village Green Realty. In this role he is responsible for the day to day operations of our 7 offices that span the Hudson Valley/Catskill Region. Additionally, he focused on growth opportunities for the company and maintaining the relationship with Coldwell Banker.

Prior to joining Village Green Guy was Senior Director for Strategic Growth for the Coldwell Banker brand. As the Senior Director, he was responsible for the renewal of the Coldwell Banker affiliates across the United States. He also worked with affiliates who were looking for the opportunity to sell their business. His role put him in contact with hundreds of affiliates nationwide as well the entire Field Serving and Franchise Sales Team.

Mr. Barretta started with Coldwell Banker in 2014  as the Regional Vice President for Franchise Sale in the Northeast for the Coldwell Banker brand. He was responsible for the growth of the brand through 13 states. Mr. Barretta also spent 5 years as a Commercial Real Estate Broker for Massey Knakal Realty Services in New York City and The Kislak Company in New Jersey. He also served as the Sales Manager for the real estate technology company SiteCompli.

Mr. Barretta holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts & Sciences from the University of Dayton (1996) and a Master’s of Business Administration from Baruch College – Zicklin School of Business in New York City. When not in the office Mr. Barretta can be found spending time with his lovely wife Michelle and coaching his two sons, Marco and Luca, in Baseball, Football and Soccer. The Barretta family also consists of Stella, their lovely older Puggle and Brownie, their crazy beagle.
