I have been an Ulster Co resident for more 25 years, starting out as a weekender enjoying all-too-brief escapes from NYC - then eventually transitioning to full-time. Creating a deep sense of home and comfort for others is what I enjoy the most, so deciding to incorporate real estate into the mix seemed like a natural progression. I am an incurable tour guide and love to take friends and visitors all over our region to show off the best of what we have here. I have actually helped a few friends find homes or land in the area...not then as a licensed real estate agent, just as a friend who was committed to searching high and low for properties that would get a beloved friend closer to me and my family! Over the years, I have developed an intense love for Ulster County primarily because of all it has to offer in one little chunk of New York State. The diversity of people, arts and culture and natural beauty is truly unparalleled.

I was an art director in advertising in the city and since moving Upstate full-time, I have focused primarily on graphic design as well as home design. I am very interested in architecture, sustainable building and creating beautiful as well as functional living space. I have done several renovations as well as three houses from start to finish, including my own. I was raised in Mid-Western suburbs, had my stint in the city and then found my true heart home here. I raised my boys against the Gunks in Accord and they had a very magical childhood in our rural area. We are a big hiking, back-packing, kayaking, skiing and mountain biking family, and we certainly hit the jack-pot here. We were so inspired that we started a wilderness camp with several friends called Wild Earth. This organization has grown over the last decade to include many programs throughout the year for children as well as adults. It has been very satisfying to develop an organization that promotes connection through experiences in nature.

As A Real Estate Agent...

My background in advertising and graphic design give me an edge when marketing properties for sellers. Getting buyers to a home is the most important step in getting it sold. Motivating them to come take a look requires compelling marketing content. I have the skills to create that content in my back pocket. When it comes to buyers I understand first-hand the needs of weekenders as well as the people who want to be full-timers, as I have lived in both worlds. I have also been through the process of buying my own home and selling my own home and I understand the needs of both parties. My home design business has given me a wide range of experience that both buyers and sellers can benefit from. Most importantly, I have a vast knowledge of all corners of Ulster County and the surrounding area, and can help guide anyone to that perfect location and structure... to call home.
