Joan Lonergan graduated from John A. Coleman High School in Kingston New York in 1972 and received her BFA degree from the College of New Rochelle in Westchester County New York in 1976. In 1988 she was licensed as a sales associate and in 1990 licensed as a real estate broker. In 1991 Lonergan opened Village Green Realty in Woodstock NY with 3 sales associates.  In 1997 Lonergan opened her 2^nd office in Kingston NY and in 2002 acquired Wetherby Paradise Real estate and opened her 3^rd office in Stone Ridge NY.  In 2006 Lonergan opened her 4^th office in Greene County located in Windham NY. Lonergan served as the Treasurer, Vice President, President Elect and as a director of the Ulster County Board of Realtors for 12 years. In 2001 Joan Lonergan was elected the President of the Ulster County Board of Realtors and represented the membership at the State and National Associations for 2 years. The prestigious ‘Realtor of the Year” award which is an honor given for service to the real estate industry was presented to her in 2004.
