I began my career in Manhattan as an Accessories Buyer for Gimbels Department Stores, New York/Philadelphia. My husband and I bought a wonderful weekend retreat in Saugerties in 1985 to escape the hectic pace. As time went on, that home became our full time residence. We grew to love the peace, tranquility, and welcoming community we had become a part of. I chose at that point to go into the Real Estate field, as I felt I had a good understanding of many of the things my customers are looking for. Their desires are for a place to relax, a friendly town or village to explore, and a wide variety of diversions to enjoy nearby- hiking, skiing, boating on the Hudson, or a great restaurant to have a leisurely brunch with friends. I felt I had the special abilities to convey the special attributes of this beautiful Hudson Valley. I truly enjoy putting forth the extra effort to make customers feel comfortable immediately when we begin our search for their home.
