Living in the Hudson Valley for 14 +years, I can say it is the best place to raise a family. I was born in the Caribbean, and grew up in Western Canada. When I moved to Woodstock, NY I razed a barn that was moved from Lake George. Then I acquired a beautiful Victorian in a nice area of Kingston where I lived for four years. I currently own an old cottage with my partner and started a small hobby farm. The opportunity and affordability to buy different types of property is what makes the Hudson Valley so attractive. In addition, the change of seasons is so spectacular that one can never be bored. For winter sports, one can drive up to Windham, Hunter or the family resort Bellayre. Farmers markets and wineries offer healthy local produce. Let me share with you what I have enjoyed for so long.
