Thanks for checking out my bio.
It's spring time 2011 and I'm in my 9th year in real estate this summer. What a ride it's been so far!
Let me back track a bit and tell you more about my background. I was born in 1960 in a small town in Ohio. When I was 2 we moved near Pittsburgh, PA and there I lived the next 20 years. In 1984 I graduated from a 2 year electronics school and I landed a job with IBM in Kingston, NY. I worked for IBM for 16 years before taking a buy out. I started a company called Ulster Land Development and over the next couple years I bought, developed and sold a dozen building lots. During this time I realized just how much I enjoyed working with the public and I started another career, this time as a Realtor. In June of 2003 I started what I feel will be an awful long career in real estate. I started out working for a lawyer in Kingston then I moved to my present job with Coldwell Banker in January of 2005. This is an awesome group to be with! I've continued to be very involved in land development and have become quite good at picking out home and septic sites. I have a list of connections, everything from surveyors to septic engineers to lawyers who will make your purchase or sale go smoothly. I work as a buyer’s agent or as a seller’s agent equally well. In 2006 I was the top agent in my office!
When I'm not working, I'm with the other loves of my life. I've been with the most wonderful lady the last 13 years and we're both very much into dog rescue. Mary and I work with a breed known as German Shorthaired Pointers. Other passions include motorcycle riding, hiking in the Catskills and Adirondacks, hunting, camping, fishing, reading and quiet times at home. I simply love this job and you'll love my work. I've been in front of planning and zoning boards in many towns. I can help you get sub-division approvals and variances. The last couple years have been very demanding and difficult in this business. Now more than ever you need somebody with my background and skills.
How can I help you?
Respectfully,
Bruce Stalnaker
